INTERNAL USE

Fatty acid composition:

Essential polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs or EFAs) or vitamin F: linoleic acid (omega-6) (62.3%)
Monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs): oleic acid (omega-9) (22.3%)
Saturated fatty acids (SFA): palmitic acid (15.4%)

Note: Linoleic acid is a polyunsaturated fatty acid belonging to the omega-6 family. This fatty acid is not synthesized by the body. For this reason, it is considered an "essential" fatty acid. An omega-6 deficiency can lead to severe skin dryness and allergies. In the skin, this fatty acid is a component of ceramides. It participates in the replenishment of epidermal lipids and promotes good cohesion between skin cells. Linoleic acid helps limit water loss from the skin while also providing softening and nourishing properties.
